Justin Diamond is Head of Data Analytics at Rapidan Energy Group, where he leads the firm’s data and technology initiatives. Combining expertise in energy markets, geopolitics, law, and software engineering, Justin develops quantitative models and analytical tools that help assess market risks, forecast fundamentals, and translate data into concrete, actionable views.

As Head of Data Analytics, Justin oversees the development of machine-learning and other models related to oil and gas markets, geopolitical risk, and electric vehicle adoption. He also leads the firm’s data infrastructure and automation efforts, integrating dozens of proprietary and public datasets into Rapidan’s views. Justin also develops client-facing analytical tools like RapidanHQ, the firm’s energy intelligence platform, and data delivery tools such as Rapidan API.

Before joining Rapidan, Justin completed a degree in International Affairs, with a concentration in Economics, at George Washington University. He also holds a J.D. from American University’s Washington College of Law and is an attorney with experience crafting data licensing agreements for Rapidan, as well as multiple technology startups.
